The B2B Marketing Expo is Europe’s Largest Marketing Event. We were asked to be event photographer partners for this years show. Over two days, the exhibition has thousands of marketing professionals meeting with vendors from various sectors of technology and traditional marketing companies. The event has an impressive keynote speaker line up with numerous theatres around Excel with different topics being discussed throughout the day. As event photographers, our remit was to capture all the key aspects of the event for promotional use.
As event photographers, our key objective was to capture all the key moments of the event as well as the atmosphere, keynote speakers, exhibition stands, awards and anything else that moved (or didn’t). Photographs from the event have been used for social media throughout the event to as well as the website and promotional material for next years B2B Marketing Expo.
Throughout the event, we photographed over 100 keynote speakers across numerous sponsored theatres. As a business owner, I love photographing the speakers as you often learn while you are photographing! From email marketing and SEO through to more traditional marketing, speakers came from throughout the UK and abroad to deliver to often over subscribed theatres with delegates sitting and standing in the aisles!
Innovation Business Awards
Across the event, we photographed the four innovation awards. Each finalist pitched their business, concept or product to a panel of marketing experts and faced a grilling before finding out if they had one of the prestigious awards. With awards like “Agency of the future” and “Best Marketing Management Tool” up for grabs, the competition was super strong!
The event was full of organised and impromptu networking opportunities. Throughout the cafe areas was a constant buzz of meetings, connections and deals being done.
From international corporations through to small businesses, the array of stands was incredible. Many of the larger companies having invested heavily in huge bespoke exhibition stands to encourage visitors to come and have a chat about their offering. To ensure we photographed the exhibition stands as best as possible, we sent event photographers into Excel early on the second day before the event was open and when the stands themselves were clear.
